The Dead Letter Office is a theatrical letter mail experience that delivers impossible messages across time and space!
In this interactive letter exchange, audience members write and receive mysterious handwritten letters and postcards. Inspired by the phenomenon of lost, undeliverable, and misdirected mail that finds its way into the postal service’s office for “dead letters,” this strange and delightful project attempts to create curious connections and deliver otherwise impossible messages.

“It's such a warm and wonderful idea. It's like finding a hole in a tree and telling your secrets into it. And then you also get to be the tree and receive somebody's secrets.” -Dead Letter Office Audience Member
“I've been using the postcards I received as bookmarks and am constantly reminded of the words I came into contact with; a perpetual sense of mystery about who sent them and who is rooted within what has been written. I love it! Such an intriguing, fun, and tantalizing experience!” -Dead Letter Office Audience Member
