Who have you lost touch with,
and what would write to them if you could?

The Dead Letter Office invites audiences to consider this question in an intimate performance about loss, longing, and human connection. Inspired by the undeliverable and misdirected mail that finds its way into the postal service’s office for “dead letters,” this project explores the lived experiences of real people and delivers otherwise impossible messages from those we have lost.

The Dead Letter Office consists of two parts: a live, in-person performance and a remote letter mail exchange. These two components can be experienced together or as stand-alone pieces.
